American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA)
The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 was passed by the federal government to support the economic and public health recovery of the United States from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
ARPA designated $350 billion in direct aid to state, local, and tribal governments. The City of Fall River received $69,599,147.00 in ARPA funds directly from the United States Treasury Department and $16,035,844.70 from Bristol County Treasury, to assist in the recovery from COVID-19.
